For Bergström, growing up in Skövde, Sweden felt safe. Her family has shaped her into the person she is today. She is outspoken, & outgoing, qualities that serve her well in her professional and personal life.

She always knew of Hollywood from the movies, yet she never really considered moving to Los Angeles. When she was young, her mother signed her up for a theatre audition for the Musical production of Wizard of Oz. Her talent, charisma, and willingness to work hard got her the role.

Eleven musical productions later, she realized her passion to be an artist was strong, yet she never really believed it could be a safe professional career. Perhaps because her parents both have a background in banking. Her younger brother is a hockey player and handles the economics and sponsorships for a hockey club. Such “structured” careers were perhaps one reason for Hanna’s desire to pursue a more stable path.

“I thrive when I get the opportunity to combine my passion for showbiz with my creative business mind.”

Says Bergström, who is currently building her career in entertainment marketing

When Hanna had the opportunity to come to Los Angeles, she realized that the Entertainment Industry was so much bigger than she thought. She could pursue a career in Entertainment without having to be on stage per se.

During her last semester at CSUN, She got an internship at Michael Bay and Adam Goodman’s company Invisible Narrative. After only six months in the industry, she was approached by Redrock Entertainment executives where she was offered to start and lead the Social Media department for the company. Her life and professional career are now taking a force of its own. Bergström is responsible for digital marketing for all divisions of the company including Event Production, Talent Management, Film & Broadcast.

“I thrive when I get the opportunity to combine my passion for showbiz with my creative business mind.” Says Bergström, who is currently building her career in entertainment marketing.

Turning Hollywood upside down is no easy feat. Bergström combines her background in marketing and her knowledge of the industry with her business mindset. Her passion for entertainment and her strategic point of view allows her to rise above the rest.

In an industry where diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of change, Hanna understands that cultural differences provide strength, giving her a perspective of the world that allows her to enter a room with an open mind. While this could sound generic, many business people, still to this day are very close-minded in the way they navigate this ever-changing world.

Her biggest dream is to become the head of marketing for a studio like Warner Brothers or Universal.

Being a Virgo, a challenge is clearly not out of her comfort zone. The puzzle that it is to brand and market an event, artist, or film in Hollywood is what Bergstrom enjoys the most.

No doubt Bergström is considered by many as one to watch in the industry.

Hanna’s journey is a reminder that success doesn’t always come in the form we expect, but with the right attitude and perseverance, we can achieve greatness in any field we choose.
